Codex banked reset: eligibility, expiry and redemption
Editorially updated · Independent guide
A banked reset is a saved reset benefit, rather than a public countdown that automatically restores every account. Check whether a reward is actually available to you, what it resets and when it expires. Campaign terms can differ; the account’s redemption screen is the place to confirm the current offer.
Before using a saved reset
| Eligibility | Does the reward appear in the account and workspace you are using? |
|---|---|
| Scope | Which limit does the confirmation screen say it changes? |
| Expiry | What date, time and time zone does the reward show? |
| After use | Have the allowance and next recovery time changed? |
If a card is missing
Compare the current campaign terms with your own account, then check whether the reward was already used or expired. A screenshot from someone else is not a balance check for your account. The related missing-card guide walks through those checks.
What to do
- Open the official account benefits or usage screen and read the reward terms.
- Record its expiry time and the allowance it applies to before deciding when to redeem it.
- After redemption, compare the new balances and reset dates with your saved reminders; update any that changed.
Scope & exceptions
- Do not apply an old referral campaign’s expiry period to a new grant.
- A grant announcement alone does not establish that you received or redeemed a reward.
